In a significant display of unity ahead of the Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye-Election, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, was joined by his counterparts at a weekly PDP meeting in Yemetu, Ibadan.
The event saw the presence of Engineer Akeem Olatunji, Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government and former Oyo State PDP Publicity Secretary, along with Hon. Wole Akinleye, Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government.
The meeting, which drew a large crowd of PDP members, was energized by the attendance of these notable figures.
In their remarks, Engineer Akeem Olatunji praised Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade as a capable leader who has positively transformed Ibadan North Local Government.
He urged party members and leaders to support Hon. Olufade in his efforts to elevate the local government to greater heights and assured them of his support in the upcoming bye-election.
Hon. Wole Akinleye expressed his joy at joining the PDP family in Ibadan North and was encouraged by the massive turnout.
He emphasized the importance of the upcoming bye-election for the PDP and reminded attendees of the shared boundary between Akinyele and Ibadan North Local Governments, pledging his full support for the PDP in Ibadan North.
He called for unity to defeat opposition parties in the election.
