On his birthday, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen marked the occasion with a significant charitable initiative, empowering some 150 individuals and providing vital support to local educational institutions and orphanages. The event, held at the multipurpose hall in the local government secretariat, also celebrated his first 100 days in office.

During the gathering, Chairman Kamoru distributed cash empowerment to a hundred and fifty community members, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting those in need. Additionally, he provided first aid supplies to a total of 15 primary and secondary schools, enhancing health resources available for students and staffs in local schools.

The council chairman also extended his generosity to two orphanage homes inclusive of; Jesus Kids’ Home for Special Needs, located at Ifelodun Academy in Iwo Road, and Evangelist Aminat Alli’s foundation, He Careth Orphanage, in the General Gas area of Akobo, Ibadan. Both facilities received food and essential packages, aimed at improving the quality of life for the children they serve.

Chairman Kamoru’s charitable cause on his special day has been said to reflect a strong dedication to community welfare and development, making his birthday not just a personal celebration but a day of meaningful impact for many in the local government area.

The event was a well appointed one, and attended by community members, traditional rulers, staffs and council members, friends and associates, political leaders and various political groups.
