In a notable development, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has officially swore in Alade Gbenga as the new Secretary of the Local Government. The ceremony, held at the Lagelu Council Secretariat in Iyana-Offa, was attended by various local officials, dignitaries and community members.
Hon. Kamorudeen praised Alade for his dedication to political development and the experience of service, expressing confidence in his capacity to contribute to the administration’s drive for positive change. “Gbenga brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to public service,” the council chairman remarked in a new release by his office right after the swearing-in event.
The swearing-in of Alade Gbenga as Secretary also came with his immediate posting as political leader of Lagelu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
In his acceptance speech, Alade Gbenga extends gratitude to every stakeholders in the local government area for the opportunity of service— assuring to give his all to the development of the local government under the Kamoru administration. He emphasized his intention to work closely with the council chairman, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru, the council members and communities to achieve the goals of the administration.
