The legislative arms of Egbeda Local Government paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chairman, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple, who also serves as the political head of Ajorosun LCDA.
The delegation was led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Olakanmi Olusola.
Hon. Olakanmi Olusola stated that the purpose of the visit was to express the legislative arm’s total support for the political head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple, for the progress of both Ajorosun LCDA and Egbeda Local Government.
He emphasized the importance of a harmonious working relationship between the main council and the LCDA for the overall development of Egbeda Local Government.
Additionally, he highlighted the need for effective management of internally generated revenue to benefit the community.
In his remarks, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple expressed his gratitude to the legislative arm for their visit and support. He appreciated the opportunity to discuss the development of both Ajorosun LCDA and Egbeda Local Government.
He assured the councilors of a harmonious relationship between the LCDA and the main council, promising to fulfill his role effectively for the betterment of the local government.
During the visit, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple introduced the newly posted Acting Head of Local Government Administration (Ag. HLGA), Alhaji Abdulwasiu Abdulganiyu, to the legislative arm.
Alhaji Abdulwasiu expressed his appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the councilors and the LCDA.
He acknowledged Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple’s dedication to the development of Ajorosun LCDA and assured the councilors of the staff’s full cooperation in making Ajorosun LCDA great.
The legislative delegation included the Deputy Leader, Hon. Alaba Abdullah; Majority Leader, Hon. Rafiu Ibrahim; Principal Councilor, Hon. Oladimeji Kola; Hon. Oladipo Abraham; Hon. Adijat Oladoye; Hon. Adedeji Saheed A.; Hon. Raji Teslim; Hon. Arowolo Kolawole; and Hon. Salaudeen Sarafa.
