The member representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West federal constituency of Oyo state in the House of Representatives and candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) for Oyo South Senatorial District in 2027, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide Odidiomo, has donated a 500KvA transformer and facilitated the grading of roads in communities within Ibadan South-west local government area of Oyo state.
Hon. Olajide Odidiomo made donations when he took his grassroots campaign tour to Bako, Owode/wire and cable communities, in fulfillment of his grassroots development plan for Oyo south senatorial district, once he is elected senator representing the district in the forthcoming 2027 general election.
Addressing enthusiastic crowds of residents, community elders, and party faithful during the strategic engagement, the federal lawmaker pledged to immediately facilitate the procurement and installation of a high capacity electricity transformer for the Owode community to permanently resolve long-standing power supply challenges in the axis.
Alongside the transformer intervention for Owode, Hon. Olajide Odidiomo announced the immediate facilitation of grading works for the major inner access roads in the neighboring Bako community.
The lawmaker emphasized that opening up feeder roads within the suburban settlements of Ibadan South-West is vital to easing traffic congestion, facilitating local trade, and boosting the overall socio-economic wellbeing of residents. He assured community stakeholders that heavy earthmoving equipment would be deployed to the site without delay, demonstrating his characteristic approach of pairing political campaigns with swift, practical developmental relief.
Highlighting his legislative track record, Odidiomo stated that his 2027 senatorial ambition under the APM platform is built on a solid foundation of verifiable constituency performance rather than mere political promises.
