Farmer Omolara Kafilat Busari Svensson, Director and State Coordinator of the BSA Neighbour-to-Neighbour Campaign Initiatives and State Coordinator of the Step-by-Step Political Evangelists, has applauded Hon. Adebola Shakirat Adetunji, popularly known as ASHAD, for her remarkable commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and her massive empowerment programme for party members across Oyo State.
Farmer Omolara described the empowerment as a commendable demonstration of generosity, political commitment and dedication to the welfare of party members, noting that ASHAD had continued to distinguish herself through her contributions to the growth and strength of the APC in the state.

She particularly praised ASHAD for her courage, consistency and unwavering loyalty to the party, despite not securing the APC ticket for the Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, which she had earlier aspired to represent.
According to Farmer Omolara, ASHAD’s decision to remain steadfast, supportive and actively committed to the party despite the outcome of the primaries reflects an uncommon political virtue that deserves recognition and emulation.
She noted that such a display of loyalty and maturity is increasingly rare in today’s political environment, where some aspirants become disengaged or withdraw their support from their parties after failing to secure elective tickets.
Describing ASHAD as a woman of substance, Farmer Omolara maintained that her conduct represents an inspiring example of sportsmanship, political discipline and selfless service that other women in politics should emulate.

She further stressed that political participation should go beyond personal ambition, explaining that genuine commitment to a political party is demonstrated through sustained loyalty, contributions and support, irrespective of individual electoral fortunes.
Farmer Omolara consequently prayed that Almighty God would grant ASHAD her heart’s desires, open greater political opportunities for her and crown her future endeavours with remarkable success.
The massive empowerment programme, held at Mapo Hall, Oja Oba, Ibadan, attracted prominent APC leaders and stakeholders from across Oyo State. Those in attendance included the party’s governorship candidate, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli; Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon. Adesoji Michael Adedeji; Oyo South Senatorial Candidate, Engr. Remi Oseni; APC candidates for the State House of Assembly and House of Representatives; members of the party’s State Executive Committee; political stakeholders; and numerous party faithful.
