The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Chairmanship Candidate for Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has congratulated Hon. Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle on his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, describing the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his experience, administrative competence and commitment to public service.
Hon. Simple noted that the appointment of Wolekanle to the strategic position reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership capacity and ability to contribute meaningfully to the effective coordination of government activities and the advancement of the governor’s development agenda.
In his congratulatory message, the Egbeda-born grassroots politician described the office of the Chief of Staff as a critical component of the machinery of government, requiring tact, discipline, sound judgment, administrative dexterity and the ability to foster productive working relationships among government officials and institutions.
He expressed confidence that Wolekanle would bring his wealth of experience, political maturity and understanding of public administration to bear on his new responsibilities, thereby strengthening policy coordination, institutional efficiency and the effective implementation of government programmes across Oyo State.
Hon. Simple particularly acknowledged Wolekanle’s previous service as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, noting that his experience in local government administration places him in a strategic position to appreciate the challenges and opportunities confronting grassroots governance.
