At the meeting, the Osun APM stakeholders, led by their various political candidates and leaders, expressed their total support for the presidential candidacy of Engineer Oluseyi Makinde, pledging to work collectively towards mobilising support for his ambition across the state.

Adewale Adebayo, the APM governorship candidate in Osun State, joined the party’s senatorial, federal and state legislative candidates in reaffirming their commitment to the Makinde presidential project.

The stakeholders said they were prepared to deploy the party’s structures across the state and work in concert with its leadership to mobilise the people of Osun State in support of Makinde’s presidential candidacy.

Speaking during the meeting, Famojuro assured the Osun APM structure of an inclusive administration should Engineer Makinde emerge as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Famojuro said the people of Oyo State had experienced the governance philosophy of the Makinde administration for close to seven and a half years, adding that the principles which, according to him, had guided the administration could be replicated at the federal level on a much larger scale.

He said the objective would be to take the experience of governance in Oyo State to the national level, while ensuring that different sections and stakeholders across Nigeria are carried along.

Famojuro further assured the gathering that inclusiveness would remain a key component of a Makinde-led federal administration, urging the Osun APM stakeholders to remain united and committed to the political project.

The meeting also had in attendance the Oloriebi of the Omituntun family, Chief Babatunde Tijani Popularly known as Double T, who commended the APM structure in Osun State for its expressed support for Makinde’s presidential aspiration.

The Oloriebi praised the unity displayed by the party stakeholders and described their declaration of support for Makinde as an indication of the confidence they have in his political leadership and governance record.

In their separate remarks, Osun State APM Governorship Candidate, Adewale Adebayo and the entire APM candidates across the senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly constituencies reiterated their commitment to working together towards the realisation of Makinde’s presidential ambition.

The Osun APM structure subsequently assured that it would work concertedly across the state’s political constituencies and grassroots structures to canvass support for Engineer Oluseyi Makinde ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment among the stakeholders to strengthen the APM’s political structures in Osun State and coordinate their mobilisation efforts in support of the party’s presidential candidate.
