The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has been appointed Director-General of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) governorship and presidential campaign for Ibadan North East Local Government.
The appointment is contained in a release made available to the press and signed today, Monday, 28th September 2026, by Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran. Dr. Adeniran is the Coordinator of the APM presidential campaign and the Director-General of the Oyo State APM Governorship Campaign Council.
In his new role, Hon. Akintayo will lead the campaign for both the governorship and presidential candidates of the party in Ibadan North East Local Government. He takes up the assignment while continuing to serve as the Executive Chairman of the local government.
Dr. Adeniran also charged all 33 local government Directors-General, who are also the campaign coordinators in their respective local governments, to work to ensure that APM wins by a landslide in the forthcoming general election.
