The campaign train of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has moved to Surulere Community in Ward 9 of Ido Local Government Area, where he received a warm reception from residents and community stakeholders.
The campaign visit attracted residents, community leaders, youths, artisans and women groups who gathered to welcome the APM candidate and his team to the community.
During the visit, Adedeji engaged residents in direct interactions, listening to concerns about infrastructure, economic opportunities and other issues affecting the community.
The engagement provided an opportunity for residents to share their experiences and expectations with the candidate, while Adedeji outlined his plans for representing the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Community leaders and stakeholders who spoke during the gathering commended Adedeji for what they described as his grassroots engagement and contributions to community development.
They also highlighted his background as an engineer and businessman, as well as his reported interventions in areas including education, youth empowerment and community development.
Some of the speakers expressed their support for his candidacy and pledged to mobilise residents behind the APM candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing the gathering, Adedeji thanked the people of Surulere for the reception and reiterated his commitment to pursuing what he described as effective, responsive and accountable representation if elected.
He said his legislative agenda would focus on infrastructure, human capital development, economic empowerment for traders and artisans, as well as the creation of opportunities for young people.
“Our mandate is simple: to change the face of governance by putting the people first. Real leadership is measured not by empty promises, but by visible, measurable impact and a genuine willingness to walk side-by-side with the people,” Adedeji said.
The campaign visit ended with prayers and solidarity activities as supporters and community members expressed their continued engagement with the APM campaign ahead of the 2027 elections.
