The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has congratulated Hon. Abiodun Oluwaseun Friday, popularly known as Laurel, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Oyo State Project Performance Monitoring Agency (OYSPPMA) by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
The appointment, which takes effect from Friday, September 18, 2026, follows Hon. Abiodun Oluwaseun Friday’s previous service as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Delivery.



























He succeeds Engr. Muftau Open Salawu who is now the Oyo State Allied Peoples’ Movement deputy Governorship Candidate.
In a congratulatory message made available through his head of media, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade described the appointment as a recognition of Laurel’s commitment, capacity, dedication and demonstrated understanding of project delivery and public service.
He noted that the responsibility placed on the new chairman is significant, particularly given the agency’s mandate of monitoring public projects and ensuring that government investments deliver the intended value to the people of Oyo State.

Hon.
