The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has welcomed pupils and students across the local government area back to school as they resume for a new academic session.
In his goodwill message to mark the commencement of the new term, Hon. Olufade described the return to classrooms as a fresh opportunity for learning, growth, innovation, and the pursuit of academic excellence among young learners who represent the future of Ibadan North, Oyo State, and Nigeria.
He encouraged students and pupils to approach the new academic session with renewed commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm, urging them to remain focused on their studies and make the most of every opportunity available to them.
“Education remains the bedrock of development and the strongest tool for building a successful future.
I encourage our children to be diligent in their studies, respect their teachers, embrace good values, and remain determined to achieve their dreams.
“The efforts they put into learning today will shape the leaders, innovators, and professionals they will become tomorrow,” he said.
The Executive Chairman also acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices of parents, guardians, teachers, school administrators, and all stakeholders who continue to contribute toward the growth and success of the education sector.
According to him, building a better educational system requires collective responsibility, cooperation, and sustained commitment from everyone involved in the development of young minds.
Hon. Olufade reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote quality education, improve learning environments, and create better opportunities for pupils, students, and teachers within Ibadan North Local Government.
He further emphasized the importance of ensuring that schools remain safe, conducive, and inspiring environments where every child can learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.
“Welcome back to school, our future leaders. I wish all our pupils and students a successful academic session filled with knowledge, excellence, achievement, and remarkable progress,” Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade added.
