An upcoming gathering in Ibadan, Oyo State, will bring men together for a conversation on purpose, leadership, family, personal growth and the pressures associated with financial responsibility.

Tagged “Made for More — Living Beyond the Bills,” the gathering is aimed at addressing what organisers describe as the growing burden faced by men who spend much of their lives working, providing for their families and meeting financial obligations, but often have little opportunity to focus on their personal fulfilment and broader purpose.

According to the organisers, many financially responsible men are increasingly finding themselves emotionally exhausted and unfulfilled despite appearing successful on paper.

The initiative is built around the belief that life should extend beyond merely paying bills and meeting day-to-day obligations.

The programme will explore issues including purpose, influence, family, leadership and personal development, while encouraging participants to consider the possibilities that exist beyond financial survival.

The organisers have extended an invitation to dignitaries and other members of the community to participate in the gathering, describing it as an opportunity for meaningful conversation, reflection and personal renewal.

The event is scheduled to hold at 10:00 a.m. at Vision Builders Christian Centre, Carpenter Bus Stop, beside Item 7, Ologuneru, Ibadan.

The convener, Bro Mike, expressed optimism that participants would find the gathering both enriching and refreshing, describing the event as an opportunity for men to pause, reflect and consider what it means to live a more purposeful and fulfilled life.

The organisers also apologised for the short notice given to some invited guests, explaining that they had hoped to extend the invitations earlier.

The gathering is expected to provide a platform for men to discuss the realities of financial responsibility while also examining the emotional, relational and leadership dimensions of their lives.
