Dr. Ibraheem Dikko Salami, has hailed the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE as a “builder per excellence,” declaring his full support for the governor and the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dikko, an APM chieftain from Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, made the declaration on Monday, September 7, 2026, following the commissioning of the APM Campaign Office in Abuja, commissioned by Governor Makinde, the party’s presidential candidate.

The PTS chairman described Makinde as a leader with a demonstrated capacity for development, saying his record in Oyo State had shown that he possessed the vision, experience and determination required to provide effective leadership at the national level.
He said the governor’s APM presidential candidate is a significant development in the nation’s journey and development, urging Nigerians to support his aspiration to become President of Nigeria.
According to Dikko, “You have a builder per excellence in Governor Seyi Makinde. His achievements in Oyo State have demonstrated his capacity to transform ideas into tangible development. Nigeria needs a leader who understands how to build and sustain institutions.”
Dikko also declared his support for the APM governorship candidate in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, urging party members and supporters across the state to work collectively for the success of the party.

He further pledged his support for all APM candidates in Oyo State, stressing that victory for the party at all levels would require unity, commitment and effective grassroots mobilisation.
The Oyo PTS chairman called on party supporters to take the APM campaign to every ward and community, expressing optimism that the combination of Makinde’s presidential candidacy and Adekanmbi’s governorship bid would strengthen the party’s position across Oyo State.
Dikko reaffirmed his commitment to the APM and candidates, saying he would continue to support initiatives aimed at promoting development, good governance and the political advancement of Oyo State and Nigeria.
