The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has extended warm felicitations to Chief Mrs. Jumoke Lawal, popularly known as “Mama Pineapple,” on the occasion of her 74th birthday.
Hon. Oladebo Simple, who is also the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Chairmanship Candidate for Egbeda Local Government, described the celebrant as an exceptional woman whose remarkable life has been defined by courage, commitment, resilience and an enduring passion for the progress of humanity.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Simple said Chief Mrs. Jumoke Lawal had distinguished herself across several spheres of life, particularly in education, unionism, politics, mechanised farming and philanthropy, describing her as a woman whose influence extends far beyond her immediate community.
According to him, Mama Pineapple’s 74 years represent decades of meaningful contributions to society and a legacy worthy of celebration and emulation.
“I am delighted to celebrate our highly respected Mama Pineapple as she marks her 74th birthday.
This is not merely a celebration of age, but a celebration of a life that has been dedicated to service, sacrifice and the advancement of others.
“Through her career as an educator, she contributed immensely to the development of young people and the advancement of knowledge.
As a unionist, she demonstrated courage and commitment in standing for justice, fairness and the welfare of others.
“Her involvement in politics further reflected her desire to contribute to the development of society and give voice to the people.
In agriculture, she has also shown that mechanised farming can serve as an important avenue for economic empowerment, food production and sustainable development.
“Perhaps most importantly, her philanthropic activities have continued to demonstrate her compassionate heart and genuine concern for the wellbeing of others.
She is a woman who has consistently used her opportunities and experiences to make a difference in the lives of people around her,” he said.
The Egbeda Local Government Vice Chairman further praised Chief Mrs. Jumoke Lawal for remaining an inspiration to younger generations, noting that her journey demonstrates the value of perseverance, hard work, service and dedication to community development.
Hon. Simple prayed that God would continue to preserve the celebrant in good health and grant her greater wisdom, peace, happiness and fulfilment in the years ahead.
