Former Egbeda State Constituency House of Assembly aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Farmer Hon. Omolara Kafilat Busari, has been endorsed as the Director and State Coordinator of the BSA Neighbour-to-Neighbour Campaign Initiative in Oyo State, with a mandate to mobilise women, youths and other stakeholders across the 33 local government areas of the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Her appointment is expected to strengthen the grassroots mobilisation structure of the campaign, as the initiative seeks to take its message from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, community to community and polling unit to polling unit.

As State Coordinator, the female agripreneur and vibrant politician in Oyo State, who is also the Convener of Women and Youth in Politics Sensitization, Farmer Omolara Kafilat Busari, is expected to coordinate a broad-based mobilisation network focused on increasing political participation and ensuring that the campaign message reaches voters across Oyo State.

Her supporters described her as a grassroots politician with strong connections among women, youths, community leaders and other critical stakeholders across the state.

They also highlighted her organisational abilities, leadership qualities and commitment to inclusive political participation as some of the attributes that make her suitable for the assignment.

The campaign initiative is anchored on the principle of “One Movement, One Mission,” with Busari expected to provide strategic leadership towards building an effective grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

Her endorsement also comes with a call for greater participation of women and youths in the political process, particularly at the community and polling-unit levels.

According to the campaign organisers, Oyo State requires leaders and mobilisers who can translate political vision into practical grassroots action. They described Busari as “capable, ready and the right State Coordinator for this time.”

The initiative is also expected to support the political vision of Senator Barrister Sarafadeen Alli as part of efforts to build a stronger grassroots movement ahead of the 2027 political season.

The organisers urged supporters, party stakeholders, women, youths and other members of the public who identify with the movement to join its dedicated communication platform.

They also encouraged supporters to share and amplify information about the campaign across their various communities and social networks.

The initiative further called on residents of Oyo State to remain actively engaged in the political process, stressing the importance of the electorate’s power to choose leaders who prioritise the interests and well-being of the people.

The campaign’s message remains: “Ki Oyo le dara, ajumo se gbogbo wa ni!” — For Oyo to become better, we must all work together.
