Hon. Mathew Alani Oyeniyi, former Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Aare of Akoboland, has felicitated with the Director of Women Mobilisation for the Oyo APM Gubernatorial Campaign and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ramota Agberemi Dabo, popularly known as RAD, as she marks her birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued to commemorate the occasion, Oyeniyi described RAD as a distinguished woman whose political relevance has continued to grow through her exceptional understanding of grassroots mobilisation, strategic thinking and ability to bring people together for a common purpose.
He said RAD’s strength in political mobilisation is not merely a product of the position she occupies, but a reflection of years of experience, dedication, interpersonal relationships and a deep understanding of the dynamics of grassroots politics.
According to him, RAD has distinguished herself as a woman who understands that effective political mobilisation goes beyond gathering crowds, stressing that genuine mobilisation requires trust, communication, strategic engagement and the ability to inspire people to believe in a shared vision.
Oyeniyi particularly lauded her uncommon mobilisation sagacity, describing it as one of her greatest political assets.
“Hon. Ramota Agberemi Dabo is a woman who understands mobilisation from the grassroots upward.
She possesses the rare ability to identify with people, listen to them, understand their concerns and translate relationships into meaningful political engagement.
“Her mobilisation sagacity is exceptional. She understands the people, she understands the terrain and, most importantly, she understands how to build bridges across different groups and interests.
“That level of political intelligence and organisational capacity is not acquired overnight. It is the product of experience, commitment, courage and an enduring passion for service,” Oyeniyi said.
The former federal lawmaker aspirant further described RAD as a formidable political strategist whose contribution to women mobilisation has demonstrated the increasing importance of women in shaping political outcomes and strengthening democratic participation.
He noted that her ability to engage women, youths, community leaders and other stakeholders has continued to make her a valuable personality in political mobilisation and grassroots organisation.
Oyeniyi said RAD’s influence is also strengthened by her humility, accessibility and ability to maintain relationships with people from different backgrounds, adding that these qualities have helped her remain relevant across political and social circles.
He praised her for consistently demonstrating courage in the discharge of her responsibilities, noting that political leadership requires individuals who are willing to take initiative, confront challenges and remain focused despite changing circumstances.
“RAD is a woman of courage and conviction. She has repeatedly demonstrated that she is prepared to stand for what she believes in and put her experience, energy and relationships to work in pursuit of positive outcomes.

He noted that beyond party politics, RAD has continued to demonstrate a strong connection to culture and society, describing her as a woman whose personality reflects courage, service, resilience and a commitment to the values she holds dear.

He prayed Almighty God to grant RAD many more years in good health, wisdom, peace and prosperity, while asking God to continue to strengthen her and open greater doors of opportunity and impact before her.
