Beyond the rhetoric of “Akinyele Lokan,” which naturally speaks to the principle of rotation and the argument that it is Akinyele’s turn to produce the next Federal Representative, we must also ask ourselves a more important question: Who best represents the future we desire? This is where Engr. Toheeb Adegoke Adlat, the APM candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, deserves serious consideration.
His aspiration goes beyond politics; it represents an opportunity for a new generation to have a meaningful voice at the Green Chamber.
To the youths across Akinyele and Lagelu, this is a clarion call to rally around one of our own. For too long, young people have remained spectators in decisions that directly affect their future.
Adlat represents the courage, energy and aspirations of a generation that is ready to participate, contribute and lead. Supporting him is not merely about supporting a candidate; it is about creating space for our generation at the table where decisions are made.
But Adlat’s aspiration is not about creating a divide between the young and the old. He represents the bridge between generations; bringing the wisdom of our elders together with the innovation and aspirations of our youths.
He seeks to be a voice for the voiceless, hope for the hopeless and a representative whose constituency extends beyond political boundaries to include every ordinary citizen who desires better representation.
This is beyond “Akinyele Lokan”; this is about “Federal Constituency Deserves the Best.” Let us therefore begin to look towards Engr. Toheeb Adlat with renewed hope and conviction.
Let us rally, support and believe in the possibility of a new chapter; one where our generation does not merely wait for the future, but actively becomes part of shaping it.
