The State Chairman of the Apex and Umbrella Body for all Youth Organization & Youth Focused NGOs in Oyo State:- The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter celebrates Oyo state youth, in his celebration message, he said its International Youth Day, we celebrate the unstoppable energy, creativity, and resilience of young people in Oyo State.
Speaking from the youth house in Yemetu Ibadan, he said this day is a powerful reminder that we are not just the leaders of tomorrow—we are the vital, active changemakers leading our communities, state and nations right now.
On International Youth Day 2026, themed “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” we celebrate our diverse backgrounds but unified voice. Despite varying local challenges, young people in Oyo State share the same fundamental hopes for dignity, inclusion, and a sustainable future.

On today’s International Youth Day, we call on the government at all levels to move beyond rhetoric and make real investments in young people by creating inclusive policies, lowering barriers to political participation, funding digital and technical education, Invest Real Resources in Youth Building, Provide accessible quality education, meaningful jobs, and safe spaces for young innovators to scale their ideas.
Eniola Also invites interested Youths to the Youth day celebration the council will be holding at the Ibadan North East Local Govt Secretariat on Thursday 13th August by 9am, stressing that it will be an avenue to learn and relearn.
