The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Oluwatobi Olufade, has presented a rechargeable public address system with microphones to the Oyo State Plank Sellers Association, Bodija Market.
The presentation, made on behalf of the council chairman by the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Ajebisi Olabode, was aimed at supporting the association’s activities and enhancing communication among its members.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Ajebisi stated that the welfare of the people of Ibadan North remains a priority of the Olufade-led administration.
He explained that the gesture was part of the chairman’s commitment to fulfilling his promises to various groups and associations within the local government. He added that the administration would continue to implement service-oriented programmes that directly benefit the people.
According to him, the Executive Chairman would not relent in providing people-centred leadership and responding promptly to the needs of residents.
He further assured the people of Ibadan North that the chairman’s office remains open to constructive advice and valuable suggestions that would promote the progress of the local government and Oyo State at large.
Alhaji Alimi Dauda, the Chairman Oyo State Planks Seller Association Bodija Market expressed sincere appreciation to Hon. Olufade for the kind gesture.
He described the chairman as a “talk-and-do chairman,” noting that the presentation demonstrated his responsiveness and commitment to the welfare of the people.
Alhaji Alimi also wished the chairman success in his political endeavours and pledged the continued support of the association for his administration.
The Oyo State Planks Seller Association Bodija Market expressed optimism that the equipment would improve communication and coordination during its meetings and activities.
