The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Councillorship Candidate for Ward 3 in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Abiola Afeez Adewoyin, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, on his emergence as the party’s Chairmanship Candidate for the forthcoming local government elections.
Hon. Adewoyin described Hon. Olufade’s emergence through the party’s consensus arrangement as a deserving recognition of his exceptional leadership, remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ibadan North Local Government.
According to him, the decision of the party leadership to return Hon. Olufade as its Chairmanship Candidate reflects the overwhelming confidence reposed in his administration, which has remained focused on delivering people-oriented projects, strengthening grassroots governance and promoting inclusive leadership across all wards in the local government.
He noted that within a relatively short period in office, Hon. Olufade has demonstrated uncommon dedication to public service through impactful initiatives that have positively touched the lives of residents, making him the most suitable candidate to continue the administration’s developmental agenda.
“Your emergence as the Chairmanship Candidate of our great party is a clear validation of your outstanding performance and visionary leadership.
It is a testament to the fact that the people and the leadership of our party have recognized your immense contributions to the development of Ibadan North.

He said serving in the administration exposed him to the true essence of, accountability and grassroots governance, while also giving him the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Ibadan North Local Government.

That privilege has shaped my political experience, strengthened my commitment to public service and inspired me to do more for our people.
