….Reaffirms Commitment To Grassroots Development

In another remarkable demonstration of his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of the people, the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Akinyele Constituency II, Hon. Olalere Solomon, popularly known as ERE, has donated 200 solar street lights to several communities across the constituency.










 




The initiative, aimed at improving security, enhancing economic activities and providing sustainable lighting in rural and semi-urban communities, has been widely applauded by residents as a practical demonstration of responsive leadership.

The beneficiary communities include Kajorepo/Akobo Community, Tinuoye Community, Abatakan Spare Parts Community, Motunde Community, Akinkunmi Iroko Community, Isale Ojoo Community, Akuro Community (Ward 10), Strabag Community, Olorisaoko II Community, Asiwaju Olorisaoko Community, Agbekoya Abaeja Community, Aba Eko Village, Akuro Zone B Community and Idiori Zone, all within Akinyele Constituency II.

The distribution exercise turned into a celebration as Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE was received with rousing welcomes by youths, community leaders, elders and residents in the various communities, who trooped out in large numbers to express their appreciation for the thoughtful intervention.

Addressing the residents during the presentation, Hon. Olalere Solomon thanked the communities for the warm reception accorded to him.

 

He explained that the donation of the solar street lights was inspired by his passion for community development and his desire to improve the quality of life of the people.

He stated that the solar lights would illuminate the affected communities at night, strengthen security, discourage criminal activities and create a conducive environment for businesses and other economic activities to thrive beyond daylight hours.

The APM House of Assembly candidate stressed that, as a public-spirited and community-minded individual, he considers it a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the development of Akinyele Constituency II, irrespective of whether he currently occupies public office.

According to him, the needs and aspirations of the people have always remained his priority, assuring residents that he would continue to support initiatives that promote peace, security and development whenever it is within his capacity.

“I believe leadership is about service and making meaningful impacts in the lives of the people.

This is why I have chosen to invest in projects that directly benefit our communities.

These solar street lights will not only brighten our streets but also improve security and stimulate economic activities at night,” Hon. Solomon stated.

In their separate remarks, leaders and residents of the beneficiary communities expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE for what they described as a life-changing intervention.

They noted that they had heard numerous accounts of his philanthropic gestures long before he declared his ambition to represent Akinyele Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, adding that they were delighted to have personally benefited from his generosity.

The community leaders offered prayers for God’s continuous protection, wisdom and abundant blessings upon him, while expressing confidence that his track record of selfless service and compassion reflects the kind of quality representation the constituency stands to enjoy if he is elected.

They further assured the APM candidate of their unwavering support and pledged to reciprocate his kindness, stating that leaders with genuine concern for the welfare of the people deserve encouragement and the opportunity to serve.

The solar street light project is the latest in a series of community-driven interventions by Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE, further reinforcing his growing reputation as a grassroots politician whose commitment to the development of Akinyele Constituency II extends beyond politics into tangible service to humanity.
