The Mogaji of Agoro Dynasty, Mogaji Abiola Oyeyemi, has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for his commitment to infrastructure development and responsive leadership, particularly through the ongoing rehabilitation of a major road in the Sango area of Ibadan.

Speaking during an inspection of the project, Mogaji Oyeyemi described the council chairman as a humble, respectful, and energetic leader whose dedication to improving the living conditions of residents is evident in the quality of work being carried out across the local government.

According to him, the road in question was last rehabilitated about seven years ago, but over time a large pothole resurfaced, causing serious inconvenience to motorists, commercial operators, and residents.

He expressed satisfaction that the present administration did not settle for a temporary solution but instead embarked on a comprehensive reconstruction using the necessary engineering materials to ensure the road remains durable and does not deteriorate again within a short period.

«”This road was repaired about seven years ago, but to my surprise, the same massive pothole returned. What is commendable this time is that Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade did not merely patch the damaged portion.

His administration has ensured that all the necessary materials and proper construction methods are deployed to deliver a lasting solution,” Mogaji Oyeyemi stated.»

The traditional leader further praised the chairman’s unwavering commitment to maintaining and developing critical infrastructure within Ibadan North Local Government, noting that such interventions enhance public safety, improve transportation, and contribute to the socio-economic growth of the area.

Mogaji Oyeyemi urged residents to continue supporting the council’s developmental initiatives while encouraging the chairman to sustain the momentum of quality service delivery across the local government.

The rehabilitation project has been widely welcomed by residents and road users, who expressed optimism that the improved road network would ease traffic movement and promote economic activities within the Sango axis and surrounding communities.
