In a significant boost to local security efforts and giving back to his constituency, Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Oluyole Constituency, Hon. Waheed Akintayo has hosted high-profile officials for a critical inspection of his ongoing community police station project.

The inspection team included the Senatorial Candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement, APM, for Oyo Central, Hon. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, alongside the Officer in Charge (OC) of Works for the Oyo State Police Command, CSP Adeniji Opeyemi.








 




The visit aimed to assess the progress of the construction at Semi nbi o, Moslem area, Ibadan and evaluate its alignment with the region’s broader security goals.

According to Hon. Akintayo, the high-level visit represents a major step forward in fortifying the safety architecture of the Oluyole constituency and surrounding areas.

“The visit was not only a show of support, but also a clear demonstration of commitment to strengthening security infrastructure and improving the safety architecture of our communities,” Akintayo stated.

 

“It is always encouraging to see men of vision and public-minded leadership take genuine interest in projects that directly impact the lives of the people.”

The lawmaker extended special appreciation to Hon. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo for his willingness to back and support the infrastructure project.

Akintayo noted that such gestures redefine what true political leadership should look like, emphasizing that community development should transcend election cycles.

Akintayo praised the APM Senatorial Candidate, Ajadi’s disposition as a reflection of true patriotism and community spirit.

“Leadership is not only about seeking office,” Akintayo remarked. “It is also about identifying with the people and supporting initiatives that promote peace, security.

With the technical assessment from the Oyo State Police Command’s Works department, stakeholders are optimistic that the project will accelerate, ultimately delivering a modern facility to safeguard the lives and properties of Oluyole residents.
