The Candidate for Akinyele Constituency II ahead of the 2027 general election, Hon. Olalere Ajibola Solomon ERE, has openly declared his unwavering support for the presidential ambition of Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, describing the declaration as a courageous step capable of repositioning Nigeria for purposeful leadership, sustainable development and national unity.
Hon. ERE made this known during the PDP/APM Unity Mega Rally and Grand Alliance held at the historic Mapo Hall, Oja’ba, Ibadan, an event which officially marked the launch and strengthening of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State.
The frontline Akinyele Constituency II candidate, who mobilized massively and rigorously with supporters from across Akinyele Local Government down to the rally venue, stated that Governor Makinde’s presidential declaration has renewed the hope of Nigerians who desire competent, visionary and people-oriented leadership at the national level.
According to him, the emergence of the PDP-APM alliance represents a strong political collaboration aimed at promoting inclusiveness, strengthening democratic values and building a progressive Nigeria ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon.Olalere Solomon ERE noted that the impressive turnout recorded at the unity rally, especially by party faithful, youths, women groups and supporters from different parts of Oyo State, clearly reflected the growing popularity of the alliance and the increasing acceptance of Governor Makinde’s leadership style and developmental achievements.
He further stated that the rally demonstrated the collective determination of the people to actively participate in shaping the political future of Nigeria through unity, commitment and democratic engagement.
Describing Governor Makinde as a transformational leader with remarkable administrative capacity, Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE maintained that the governor’s achievements in governance, infrastructure development, education, healthcare and political inclusiveness have continued to attract admiration and support from various political stakeholders across the country.
Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE also expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, party leaders and stakeholders, youths, women folk, members of ERE Vanguard, his media team and security operatives for their dedication, support and active participation which contributed immensely to the success of the rally.
He thereafter called on party loyalists and residents of Akinyele Constituency II to remain united, steadfast and committed to the ideals of the PDP-APM alliance, stressing that the journey towards 2027 would require loyalty, sacrifice and collective determination from all progressive-minded individuals.
