In demonstration of his commitment to grassroots governance, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, on Tuesday paid a working visit to Igbo-Elerin, where he engaged extensively with traditional rulers and community leaders on pressing development challenges.

The Chairman spent several hours in fruitful deliberations with traditional leaders from the zone, focusing on critical areas such as infrastructure, security, education, and economic opportunities.
The interactive session underscored Kamorudeen’s people-oriented leadership style and his administration’s dedication to delivering tangible dividends of democracy across the local government area.

Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Kamorudeen emphasized collaborative governance.
“Igbo-Elerin is a vital part of Lagelu, and the very first set of projects undertaken by our administration was implemented in this great community,” he reportedly told the traditional leaders.
“We are here to listen, identify the most urgent needs, and work together on practical solutions that will improve lives and unlock the area’s potential.”
Traditional leaders warmly received the Chairman, commending his proactive approach and ongoing efforts in road grading and other interventions in the Igbo-Elerin zone.
The visit aligns with his administration’s broader initiatives to foster inclusive development, enhance security, and promote welfare across different areas.
The engagement forms part of Hon. Kamorudeen’s continued outreach to traditional institutions, seen as key partners in driving sustainable progress. Residents expressed optimism that the discussions would translate into accelerated actions for development.
