Oyo State ADC gubernatorial aspirant, Oloye Adegboyega Toafeek Adegoke FCA, Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, has reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the gathering.

Adegoke described the opposition summit held in Ibadan as “timely and necessary,” noting that Nigeria’s democratic future depends on the ability of opposition parties to rise above individual interests and work collectively.

He commended the national leadership of the African Democratic Congress for convening what he termed a “historic convergence of progressive minds,” adding that such initiatives would strengthen political alternatives and deepen democratic values.

According to him, the message of unity resonating from Ibadan must translate into concrete political action capable of delivering good governance and restoring public confidence in leadership.

Adegoke further stressed that Oyo State stands ready to play a leading role in this transformation, expressing optimism that the ADC will continue to grow as a viable platform for progressive governance.
