Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Egbeda State Constituency, ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
His emergence followed a strategic stakeholders’ meeting and series of consultations among party leaders, where a consensus was reached for him to represent the constituency for another term.
The meeting, which brought together influential party figures, leaders, and key stakeholders, including Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to unity, continuity, and effective representation.
Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola, a serving member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, was widely endorsed based on his performance, legislative experience, and strong connection with constituents across Egbeda.
Party stakeholders emphasized that the decision to return him as the consensus candidate reflects confidence in his ability to sustain ongoing development efforts and deliver more impactful representation.
