Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, has commiserated with the Secretary-General of the muslim community of Oyo state, Alhaji Murzik Shiyanbade, over the death of his wife, Alhaja Tawakalitu Shiyanbade.
Alhaja Shiyanbade reportedly passed away in the early hours of thursday at the age of 66.
In a condolence message, made available to newsmen through his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Olajide Odidiomo, representing Ibadan North-west/Ibadan South-west federal constituency of Oyo state at the national assembly described the demise as a painful loss, not only to the immediate family but also to the muslim community, noting that the deceased lived a life of devotion and service.

Hon. Olajide prayed for the repose of her soul and urged the bereaved family to take solace in the exemplary life she lived, adding that her contributions and virtues would continue to be remembered.
According to him, “This is indeed a painful loss. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Shiyanbade and the entire family.
May almighty Allah grant her Aljanah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
The late Alhaja Tawakalitu Shiyanbade has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites following a janazah prayer held at the Bodija Estate Islamic centre, Ibadan.
