The honour, according to the organisers, is in recognition of Bibire’s immense contributions to the growth, development, and preservation of Ibadan’s rich cultural heritage.

Receiving the award with joy, Hon. Kazim Bibire expressed profound appreciation to the CCII and the entire people of Ibadanland for the recognition.

He noted that the honour would further encourage him to remain a worthy ambassador of Ibadan and to continue contributing meaningfully to the development of the ancient city.

“This award will further encourage me to do more for the progress of Ibadanland and to continue to represent our heritage with pride,” he said.

He was accompanied to the event by his wife, Mrs. Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, alongside associates and well-wishers who joined him in celebrating the recognition.

The colourful ceremony featured goodwill messages, highlighting the importance of preserving Ibadan’s heritage and celebrating individuals who have distinguished themselves in service to the land.
