The League of Online Publishers and Influencers convened a strategic Easter hangout and meeting at Jagz Hotel, bringing together its members in a blend of reflection, celebration, and forward-looking dialogue on the political future of Oyo State.

Far beyond a social gathering, the Easter hangout was deliberately designed as a platform to foster unity, strengthen collaboration, and align members ahead of the anticipated directive from Seyi Makinde regarding party structure and the emergence of a gubernatorial candidate under the GSM-led political leadership.
In their deliberations, the League acknowledged the diversity of political interests within its fold, noting that many members currently support different aspirants.

However, the group emphasized that such diversity must ultimately give way to collective responsibility once a consensus candidate emerges.
Members unanimously agreed that the League must rise above individual preferences and commit to a unified communication strategy that promotes cohesion, rather than division.
The group stressed the importance of discipline within the media space, urging all members to avoid publications, narratives, or content capable of undermining the collective goal of sustaining the progress recorded under the Omituntun agenda.
They reaffirmed that the success of what is envisioned as “Omituntun 3.0” must take precedence over personal alignments, regardless of the political platform on which it is realized.
Reaffirming their loyalty, the League passed a strong vote of confidence in Governor Seyi Makinde, describing his administration as a practical demonstration of how purposeful leadership can drive societal transformation.
According to the group, the Makinde-led government has redefined governance in Oyo State, proving that competence, vision, and integrity remain the cornerstone of sustainable development.
Consequently, the League called on the governor to ensure that competence, credibility, and capacity remain the foremost criteria in determining his successor.
They urged that the decision should reflect the broader interest of the state and consolidate the gains already achieved.
In the same vein, the League appealed to party members and stakeholders across all levels to embrace unity and maturity during this critical period of political transition.
They warned that disunity at such a time could jeopardize the prospects of victory in the forthcoming general elections, stressing that collective success can only be achieved through shared purpose and disciplined engagement.
The event, while rich in political significance, also lived up to the spirit of the Easter season; symbolizing renewal, hope, and togetherness.
The atmosphere at Jagz Hotel was filled with warmth, camaraderie, and genuine bonding, as members relaxed, connected, and reinforced the relationships that underpin their collective strength.
Ultimately, the Easter hangout stood as both a moment of celebration and a strategic convergence; one that signals the League’s readiness to play a pivotal role in shaping narratives, promoting unity, and supporting a seamless political transition in Oyo State.
