














Aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Oluseyi Oyebamiji, has firmly dismissed reports alleging that he has withdrawn from the race, describing such claims as false, misleading and a calculated attempt to misinform the public.
In a statement personally issued by him, Oyebamiji clarified that at no time did he step down or consider withdrawing from the contest, stressing that he remains fully committed to his aspiration and the people he seeks to represent.
“My attention has been drawn to reports circulating in certain quarters claiming that I have stepped down from the race.





I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that this claim is false and does not reflect my position,” he said.
The aspirant further emphasized that his decision to contest is rooted in a genuine desire to provide effective and people-oriented representation, anchored on integrity, accountability and purposeful leadership.
“I remain fully in the race and resolute in my commitment to offering exceptional representation to the good people of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.
This ambition is not driven by personal interest, but by a clear vision to advance the welfare of our people and strengthen our collective future,” Oyebamiji added.
He noted that his campaign continues to gain momentum across the constituency through sustained grassroots engagement, consultations with stakeholders.
Oyebamiji also called on the public, particularly his supporters and members of the political community, to disregard the unfounded rumours and remain focused on the issues that matter most to the development of the constituency.
