The Christian faithful across Ibarapa Central Local Government and beyond have been joyfully celebrated and warmly felicitated as they mark the sacred occasion of Easter, a season deeply rooted in the message of sacrifice, redemption and the triumph of hope over despair.
The atmosphere is filled with gratitude and spiritual reflection as believers commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a cornerstone of the Christian faith that continues to inspire renewed strength and hope.
In a heartfelt message, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, described Easter as a sacred moment for reflection, renewal and deep appreciation of the boundless love of God demonstrated through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He noted that the season serves as a powerful reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, humility, forgiveness, and faith, values that are essential for building a peaceful, united and progressive society.
“Easter is not just a celebration, but a spiritual awakening—a call to embrace love, extend kindness and renew our commitment to serving one another selflessly.
It reminds us that even in the face of trials, hope will always prevail,” the Chairman stated.
Hon. Adeleke urged Christians to use the occasion to pray for the continued peace, unity and development of Ibarapa Central, Oyo State and Nigeria at large. He also encouraged residents to remain steadfast, hopeful and committed to the collective progress of their communities.
While rejoicing with the Christian faithful, the Executive Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to delivering people-oriented governance that reflects the aspirations and well-being of the people.
