Hon. Akinyemi Akinpelu, a leading APC aspirant for the House of Representatives representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Egbeda, Ona-Ara, Oyo State, and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement released to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Akinpelu described the season as a period of self-discipline, reflection, and spiritual growth.
He commended Muslim faithful for their devotion and patience throughout the fasting period.
According to him, “As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I congratulate all Muslim faithful for completing the Ramadan fast with patience and devotion.
May Almighty Allah accept your fasting, prayers, and acts of worship, and bless our communities with peace, unity, and prosperity.”
He emphasized that the essence of Eid-el-Fitr goes beyond festivities, highlighting the importance of generosity, compassion, and support for the less privileged.
“Eid is not only a time for celebration, but also a time to strengthen family bonds, foster unity in our communities, and extend kindness to those in need.
Let us ensure that the lessons of Ramadan guide us throughout the year,” he added.
Akinpelu also expressed hope that the spirit of Eid would inspire continued progress and development in Egbeda/Ona-Ara, urging residents to live in harmony and work together for the common good.
