







The Member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Folajimi Oyekunle (DON), has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Ibadan North and Oyo State as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.

In a goodwill message released to commemorate the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the federal lawmaker congratulated the Muslim Ummah for successfully completing the spiritual exercise marked by fasting, prayers, and acts of charity.
As part of efforts to support constituents during the festive period, Hon. Oyekunle also distributed food palliative items and cash gifts to residents across Ibadan North Federal Constituency, particularly targeting vulnerable groups and less privileged members of the community.

Hon. Oyekunle described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant period that symbolizes gratitude, renewal of faith, and the strengthening of communal bonds. He noted that the values imbibed during Ramadan—such as discipline, sacrifice, tolerance, and generosity—are essential for fostering unity and driving sustainable development within society.

The lawmaker commended Muslims for their steadfast prayers for peace, progress, and stability in Ibadan North, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole, emphasizing the importance of spiritual support in nation-building.
He further urged residents to sustain the virtues of love, peaceful coexistence, and kindness beyond the Ramadan period, stressing the need to continually support one another, especially the less privileged in society.
Hon. Oyekunle also reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and development of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, assuring constituents of his continued dedication to effective representation and impactful service delivery.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration, praying that Almighty Allah accepts their عبادات (acts of worship) and blesses every home with peace, good health, and prosperity.
