The Councillor representing Ward 10 in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Alayande Habeeb, has extended warm gestures of support and solidarity to his constituents by distributing food items to mark the ongoing Ramadan and Lenten seasons.
The distribution, which took place during the Ward 10 meeting held in Mokola on Friday, saw the councillor give out semovita to residents across the ward, including both Muslim and Christian faithful, in recognition of the spiritual significance of the two religious observances.
Hon. Alayande noted that the initiative was aimed at supporting constituents during the sacred periods of fasting, reflection, and prayer observed by adherents of Islam and Christianity.
Residents who benefited from the gesture expressed deep appreciation to the councillor for what they described as a thoughtful and inclusive act.

In their separate remarks, Muslim and Christian leaders in the ward commended Hon. Alayande for his generosity and consistent display of compassion towards the people.
