The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has congratulated the Rector of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as an accomplished scholar and an administrator whose leadership continues to reposition the institution for greater excellence.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Ibadan on Saturday, Hon. Bibire commended the Rector for his unwavering dedication to academic advancement, institutional discipline, and the strengthening of technical education in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
The Deputy Chief of Staff noted that since assuming office, Dr. Lasisi has demonstrated uncommon vision and administrative competence in steering The Polytechnic Ibadan toward stability, growth, and improved academic standards.
Hon. Bibire further remarked that the Rector’s commitment to innovation, students’ welfare, and staff development has continued to elevate the reputation of the institution as one of Nigeria’s foremost citadels of technological and vocational learning.
According to him, the contributions of Dr. Lasisi to the education sector align with the broader development vision of the Oyo State Government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, particularly in strengthening institutions that produce skilled manpower for national development.
“Your dedication to academic excellence, administrative discipline, and the growth of young minds remains commendable. Your leadership has continued to bring honour and renewed prestige to The Polytechnic, Ibadan,” Bibire stated.
