The grassroots consultation and empowerment tour of Dr. Temitope Afolabi, an aspirant for the Ona-Ara State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), recorded another milestone with a dual consultation visit to Ward 2 (Araro) and Ward 7 (Ogberetioya).

The engagement meetings, held separately within the wards, attracted party leaders, ward executives, elders, women representatives, youths, and loyal PDP members, who gathered to interact with the Afolabi campaign team on party unity, mobilization strategy, and development priorities across Ona-Ara communities.
Addressing stakeholders in both Araro and Ogberetioya, the team reiterated Dr. Afolabi’s commitment to inclusive representation, grassroots empowerment, infrastructural development, youth advancement, and responsive governance.
They stressed that sustained consultation across wards remains central to building a strong, united, and victorious PDP structure in Ona-Ara.
In continuation of his empowerment initiative, party members in Wards 2 and 7 were again supported with cash gifts, aimed at easing economic challenges and encouraging active grassroots participation in party activities.
