Every human cause has given premium credit to loyalty as the quiet foundation that holds everything upright.

When you speak ill of your leader or act in ways that undermine their authority, you do not merely damage that relationship; you reveal a character that no one, friend or foe, can fully trust.

Even those who oppose your leader will hesitate to rely on you, knowing that the same tongue that dishonours one master can easily turn against another.
This truth is as old as human association itself: a man who betrays his own captain is rarely welcomed on any ship. True loyalty is not blind submission; it is the deliberate choice to honour the trust placed in you, to stand firm in support even when the winds are against you.
That is the mark of a worthy follower and, ultimately, of a worthy leader.
For every supporter of our cause and every other cause found deserving of our time and energy, this principle carries deep weight. Our movement is built on shared vision, mutual respect, and a common desire to see Oyo State rise again.
When we speak with honour about our leaders, whether it is the party chairman, ward leaders, our elders, or even colleagues, we strengthen the entire structure.
Disrespect, even when clothed as criticism, weakens the chain. It creates doubt, sows division, and gives opponents the ammunition they need.
On the other hand, consistent loyalty, expressed through constructive counsel rather than public disparagement, builds trust, earns respect, and positions us all as credible voices for change.
The strength of any team lies not in the absence of disagreement but in the presence of disciplined unity.
Consider the analogy of a family: when a child speaks ill of a parent in public, even the neighbours who may disagree with the parent will not trust that child with their own secrets.
The same applies to a political family and every social assembly. When supporters dishonour their own leaders, they erode the very credibility they need to advance their cause.
Loyalty is not about agreeing on everything; it is about disagreeing respectfully, correcting privately when necessary, and defending the collective honour publicly.
This is the kind of maturity that wins hearts, builds alliances, and sustains movements through difficult seasons. It is the kind of loyalty that turns a group of individuals into a formidable force.
To all who stand with me in this journey, I urge you to let loyalty be your guide. Speak with care, act with honour, and remember that our strength lies in our unity. When we lift one another up, we lift the entire cause higher.
Let us show the world what a disciplined, principled movement looks like – one that respects its leaders, values its members, and remains focused on the greater good.
Pursuing this path allows us to honour those who lead us today and prepare a legacy of trust and integrity for those who will follow tomorrow. We can achieve the Oyo State we all deserve together.
