Community leaders, parents, and beneficiaries have lauded the gesture as timely and highly impactful, especially amid prevailing economic realities that make access to tertiary education increasingly challenging for many families.

The intervention has significantly eased the financial burden on parents while opening doors of opportunity for promising young scholars aspiring to higher education.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle reiterated that education remains the bedrock of societal transformation, stressing that investing in young minds is one of the most meaningful ways to build a progressive and prosperous society.

“Education is very vital in shaping one’s life and determining one’s future.

It is only right that we support our children and parents in this regard.

This is my own little way of giving back and contributing my quota to the educational advancement of Ibadan SouthWest,” he stated.

The governor’s aide, who hails from Ward 11, Constituency II of Ibadan SouthWest Local Government, encouraged all beneficiaries to maximize the opportunity by remaining focused, disciplined, and committed to academic excellence.

He charged them to come out with outstanding results in their examinations and ultimately grow into responsible citizens who will contribute meaningfully to societal development.

Residents across the local government have described the successful purchase and distribution of the forms as a clear demonstration of Hon. Akinsete Olakunle’s integrity and dedication, noting that he not only made a promise but ensured its full execution to the benefit of the people.

Stakeholders also emphasized that the initiative aligns perfectly with the education-friendly policies and inclusive governance approach of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, which continues to prioritize access to quality education and equal opportunities for all.

With the completion of the distribution exercise, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle has further cemented his reputation as a compassionate and people-oriented leader, committed to uplifting youths and building a brighter future for Ibadan SouthWest Local Government and Oyo State at large.
