Mojeed Agbaje, a Board Member of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services and Chief Executive Officer of Hemjay Automobiles, popularly known as Hemjay, and a leading aspirant for the Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has held a strategic engagement with the President of Kishi Indigenes North America (KIANA), Alhaji Olatunji Jimoh, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.

The high-level meeting featured a robust and engaging discussion focused on the sustainable development of Kishi and the collective responsibility of Kishi indigenes in the diaspora toward the growth of their hometown.

Speaking during the interaction, Hon. Agbaje stressed the critical importance of unity among Kishi indigenes across North America and beyond, noting that meaningful and lasting development can only be achieved when stakeholders speak with one voice and work together with a shared vision.

He emphasized that indigenes in the diaspora possess invaluable exposure, resources, and networks that can be strategically harnessed to drive grassroots development at home.
Hon. Agbaje also formally made his intentions known to seek election into the Oyo State House of Assembly to represent Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency.

In his remarks, the aspirant commended the leadership and outstanding contributions of the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Barrister Abdul Raheem Adebayo Lawal, describing him as a proud son of Kishi whose service has continued to bring honor, visibility, and progress to the community.
Hon. Agbaje noted that Kishi requires significant progress through quality representation, and that it remains a shared responsibility of stakeholders at home and in the diaspora to achieve this by accelerating development and expanding opportunities for the people through unity and collective action.
The meeting concluded on a cordial note, with Hon. Agbaje expressing his sincere appreciation to the KIANA President for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him.
He also conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all Kishi indigenes across North America, describing the engagement as fruitful and reaffirming a shared resolve to reposition Kishi for sustained growth and progress.
