In a demonstration of
compassion, religious harmony, and responsive grassroots leadership, the Councillor representing Ward 8 in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Adepoju Oluseye, has distributed New Year food items to Christian faithful within his ward.
The distribution formed part of the New Year welfare initiative facilitated by the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, who graciously provided two bags of rice to each councillor across the twelve wards of the local government for onward distribution to Christian communities, in the spirit of equity and inclusiveness.

Acting promptly and in line with the directive, Hon. Adepoju Oluseye ensured that the foodstuffs allocated to Ward 8 were delivered to the Apostolic Church, Sang, Ibadan, where they were officially received by Pastor Olanrewaju Badmus and Ayo Ola, on behalf of the church and its members.
The councillor was joined in the distribution exercise by his Special Assistant, Hon. Ogundele Tope, the Ward 8 Women Leader, Nifemi Oriwo, and Mrs. Olufunke Rachael, all of whom played supportive roles in ensuring a smooth and orderly process.
The gesture was warmly received by the Christian faithful, who expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for his inclusive leadership style and consistent commitment to catering for all religious groups within Ibadan North Local Government.

They offered prayers for divine guidance, strength, and continued wisdom for the Executive Chairman as he steers the affairs of the local government.

The beneficiaries also commended Hon. Adepoju Oluseye for his dedication to the welfare of Ward 8 residents, describing him as a caring and accessible representative who prioritises unity and the wellbeing of his constituents.
The New Year outreach further highlights the Olufade-led administration’s resolve to promote religious tolerance, fairness, and people-centred governance, while strengthening the bond between leadership and the grassroots across Ibadan North Local Government.
