The Forum of Vice Chairmen and Political Heads/Administrators of the 33 Local Governments in Oyo State has congratulated Professor Musibau Adetunji Babatunde on his appointment as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde.
In a congratulatory message jointly issued and signed by the Forum Chairman, Hon. Tajudeen Adigun (ATUU), the forum described the appointment as well-deserved, timely, and reflective of Governor Makinde’s commitment to competence, experience, and merit in governance.
The forum noted that Professor Babatunde’s wealth of experience, intellectual depth, and administrative capacity would greatly strengthen policy coordination and service delivery across the state.
“We congratulate Professor Musibau Adetunji Babatunde on his well-merited appointment as Secretary to the State Government.
His pedigree as a seasoned administrator and technocrat gives us confidence that the affairs of the state will continue to be efficiently coordinated under his watch,” the statement read.
The Vice Chairmen and Political Heads also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the cabinet reshuffle, describing it as another bold step aimed at repositioning governance for greater efficiency and results.
According to the forum, the governor’s leadership style continues to reflect good governance, inclusiveness, responsiveness, and people-oriented decision-making, qualities that have endeared his administration to the grassroots.
“This latest cabinet reshuffle further reinforces His Excellency’s resolve to strengthen governance through inclusiveness and strategic deployment of capable hands.
Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated that performance, loyalty, and competence remain the hallmarks of his administration,” the forum added.
The forum also applauded the governor on other appointments and redeployments announced, expressing confidence that the changes would further enhance service delivery across ministries, departments, and agencies.
Reaffirming their commitment to the success of the Makinde administration, the 33 LG Vice Chairmen/Political heads And Administrators pledged their continued loyalty, cooperation, and unwavering support to the governor and the newly appointed SSG in the collective quest to deepen grassroots development.
“We assure His Excellency, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, and the new SSG of our unflinching loyalty and readiness to work harmoniously in advancing the developmental agenda of the government for the benefit of all residents of Oyo State,” the statement concluded.
