The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has commissioned the Ojoo Primary Health Care Centre, marking a significant milestone in the drive to strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery in Akinyele Local Government.
The commissioning ceremony attracted a large gathering of government officials, traditional rulers, party leaders, stakeholders and community members, all united in celebrating a project described as timely, impactful and people-oriented.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye expressed profound appreciation to his Principal, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for laying a solid foundation that has enabled effective governance and sustainable development across the state.
He noted that the transformation witnessed in Oyo State and Akinyele Local Government under the leadership of Governor Makinde is tremendous.
According to him, the Ojoo Primary Health Care Centre stands out as a first-of-its-kind facility with a 24-hour power supply, designed to deliver uninterrupted and quality healthcare services to residents.
The Executive Chairman emphasized that the impact of the newly commissioned health centre on the people of Ojoo and Akinyele Local Government as a whole is immeasurable, as it will significantly reduce health emergencies, improve access to quality medical care and enhance the overall well-being of the populace.
He also commended the Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Sakiru Akintunde, the legislative arm, political appointees and members of his team for their unwavering support and cooperation, which contributed to the successful completion of the project.
In his remarks, the Impact Project Manager, Dr. Osoko, appreciated the Executive Chairman for his tremendous cooperation and leadership throughout the execution of the project.
Similarly, the Oloojo of Ojoo Land, Chief Amusat Adegboyega, showered encomiums on Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, describing him as an illustrious son of the soil whose developmental strides across Akinyele Local Government are worthy of emulation by other public servants.
Party leaders and other speakers at the event also described the project as highly impactful, while commending Governor Seyi Makinde and Hon Akinwole Akinleye for their numerous developmental milestones in Akinyele Local Government and Oyo State at Large.
Dignitaries present at the commissioning included members of the Local Government Management staff, the Akinyele Local Government Matron, Dr. Ibrahim Wuraola, the World Developmental Chairman in charge of the project, Chief Babatunde Sunday, party leaders and stakeholders, religious and traditional leaders, the Ojoo Youth Organization, market leaders, party members and other community representatives.
The event concluded with prayers for continued success for the leadership of Hon. Akinwole Akinleye and sustained development in Akinyele Local Government.
