The Aare of Akoboland and former Federal House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has extended heartfelt birthday felicitations to Chief Bayo Lawal, Executive Assistant on General Administration to the Governor of Oyo State, describing him as “a distinguished statesman whose unwavering devotion to public service continues to strengthen the fabric of governance in Oyo State.”
In a personal statement issued on Monday, former ward 12 councillor in Ibadan north local government, Hon. Oyeniyi praised Chief Lawal as one of the most dependable pillars of progressive politics in the state, an administrator whose depth, wisdom, and clarity of purpose have consistently enriched the Governor Seyi Makinde–led administration.
According to him, Chief Bayo Lawal’s contributions transcend routine public service and reflect a rare blend of visionary leadership, political maturity, and genuine commitment to the common good.
He noted that the celebrant has remained a stabilizing force within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), fostering unity, strategic growth, and purposeful engagement across various political blocs.
“Chief Bayo Lawal is not only a revered leader but also a man of impeccable character whose dedication to fairness, justice, and the upliftment of Oyo State stands tall,” Hon. Oyeniyi stated.
