A young, vibrant politician, and House of Assembly hopeful for the Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency, Hon. Mojeed Oyeniran Agbaje (Hemjay), has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as the “historic, flawless, and transformational hosting” of the Ibadan 2025 National Convention of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon. Agbaje, who also serves as a distinguished Board Member of Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services and the reputable CEO of Hemjay Automobiles, said the convention stands as a symbol of Makinde’s administrative brilliance, political dexterity, and unwavering commitment to a reformed Nigerian democracy.
The convention, which attracted a massive gathering of party leaders, delegates, and stakeholders from all corners of the country, successfully produced a vibrant and united national executive team, an outcome Hon. Agbaje described as “the natural product of Governor Makinde’s strategic coordination and peace-building mastery.
According to him, Governor Makinde has once again elevated not just Oyo State but the entire PDP family on the national stage.
“What we witnessed in Ibadan was not just a convention; it was a demonstration of order, integrity, and visionary leadership,” Hemjay said.
“His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, has shown the nation that credible leadership thrives where sincerity of purpose, inclusivity, and genuine service are the guiding principles.”
Hon. Agbaje emphasized that the Ibadan2025 Convention will remain a reference point for political organization and party unity in Nigeria, noting that the seamless election process marked a new chapter for the PDP.
“This convention has proven beyond doubt that democracy can thrive in an atmosphere of peace, fairness, and transparency.
Governor Makinde deserves special commendation for setting a template that others will continue to emulate,” he added.
Extending hearty congratulations to the newly elected national executives of the PDP, Hemjay charged them to consolidate the gains of the convention and drive the party toward victory in future elections.
“You have been handed a golden mandate. Lead with courage, uphold party supremacy, and sustain the reformative spirit that Governor Makinde has championed,” he urged.
Hon. Agbaje concluded with optimism and renewed faith in the PDP’s future, declaring that the Ibadan2025 Convention marks a turning point for the party and a reaffirmation of Makinde’s status as one of Nigeria’s most exceptional leaders.
