In a strong display of community service, environmental responsibility, and grassroots leadership, the Councillor representing Ward 6, Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Faira, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to a cleaner and healthier society through his flagship initiative “Operation Keep Sabo Clean.”

The comprehensive environmental sanitation exercise, which took place yesterday across the Sabo community, saw Hon. Faira and his tireless team comb through every nook and cranny of the area, cleaning drainages, clearing waste, and sensitizing residents on the importance of maintaining a healthy environment.

Speaking with journalists during the exercise, Hon. Ibrahim Faira reaffirmed his dedication to sustaining the environmental transformation of Sabo.

“My team and I are not tired, and we will never be,” he said.

“Our aim is to ensure that every corner of Sabo enjoys a clean and safe environment.

 


 

 

We are committed to bringing sanity and environmental health to our people. No street, no zone, no area in Sabo will be left behind.”

The proactive Councillor commended members of his team for their selfless service, describing them as “true agents of change and civic-minded citizens.”

He emphasized that the initiative is not a one-off event but a continuous effort to make environmental cleanliness a collective culture among residents.

Hon. Faira further extended heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for his unwavering leadership and continuous support for grassroots development.

“I must sincerely thank our Council Chairman, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for his exceptional leadership and for always extending the hands of upliftment to the Sabo community.

His administration has been people-focused, and we are proud to be part of his vision for a better Ibadan North,” he said.

He also lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, for his developmental strides and commitment to improving the lives of the people at the grassroots.

“We cannot but appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for the transformation and progress his government has brought to Sabo and Ibadan North as a whole.

The people of Sabo are grateful, and we will continue to support and propagate the Governor’s good works,” Hon. Faira assured.

The “Operation Keep Sabo Clean” initiative continues to gather commendation from residents and community leaders, who described Hon. Ibrahim Faira as a true representative of the people, a leader who not only speaks about change but leads from the front to make it happen.
