The former Federal House of Representatives aspirant, former Ward 12 Councillor in Ibadan North Local Government, and Aare of Akoboland, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has felicitated with Oloye (Alhaja) Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja, the Maye Iyalode of Ibadanland, on the occasion of her 70th birthday.
Hon. Oyeniyi described the former First Lady of Oyo State as a “towering matriarch whose grace, wisdom, and enduring commitment to humanity have left indelible marks on society.”
According to him, Mama Ladoja has consistently represented the very best of womanhood, philanthropy, and cultural dignity, extending her influence far beyond her immediate family and community.
“Seventy years on earth is a testimony of divine favour and a life well spent in service to God and humanity.
Mama is not only an exemplary wife to our highly respected leader, His Excellency, Oloye Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, but also a mother to Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
Her legacy of compassion, selflessness, and leadership will continue to inspire generations,” Hon. Oyeniyi stated.
He further noted that as Maye Iyalode of Ibadanland, Ayaba Ladoja has used her position to advance cultural heritage, foster unity among women, and strengthen the pillars of community development.
“As you mark this platinum jubilee, my prayers are for Allah’s continued blessings upon your life.
May your days be filled with peace, joy, and abundant health. You are indeed a priceless jewel, and Ibadanland is proud of you,” he added.
Hon. Oyeniyi concluded by celebrating Mama as a rare gem, a symbol of Yoruba pride, and a matriarch whose impact will forever remain evergreen.
“Happy 70th Birthday, our distinguished mother and illustrious daughter of Ibadanland. May your light never dim.”
