Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has showered glowing encomiums on His Royal Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, as he clocks 81.
Bibire described the Olubadan-designate as “a living legend of our time, a man whose legacy is larger than life, and whose character remains a priceless gift to Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.”
He recalled Ladoja’s contributions to the political development of Oyo State, noting that his courage during turbulent political times and his unwavering stand for justice have permanently written his name in gold.
“Baba stood for truth when it was most difficult to do so, and he has never compromised his values.
That is why he remains relevant and respected even at 81,” Bibire said.
He further remarked that Baba Ladoja’s imminent coronation as the 44th Olubadan is not just a blessing to Ibadanland but a divine testimony of his patience, endurance, and loyalty to tradition.
“Baba’s life teaches us that leadership is about sacrifice, discipline, and service.
He has paid his dues in politics, business, tradition, and humanity, and today, God is rewarding him with honour and glory,” Bibire added.
The Deputy Chief of Staff prayed that Allah will preserve the life of Oba Ladoja in sound health and grant him wisdom to steer the affairs of Ibadanland as the incoming monarch.
