The Aare of Akoboland, former federal house of representative aspirant and respected PDP stalwart, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has described the coronation of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa 1, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland as a monumental event in the history of Ibadan.
Oyeniyi stated that Kabiyesi’s life story is an inspiring testimony of destiny, patience, and divine favour.
“From Gambari village to the University of Liège in Belgium, from the corporate boardrooms to the political corridors of power, and now to the Olubadan throne, Kabiyesi’s life embodies the Ibadan dream — resilience, courage, and triumph over adversity,” Oyeniyi noted.
He expressed optimism that Kabiyesi’s reign will be marked by peace, harmony, and progress, noting that his leadership experience will serve Ibadanland well.
“I felicitate with Kabiyesi and pray that his reign shall be long, prosperous, and filled with blessings,” Oyeniyi prayed.
